A couple of questions (maybe because I missed the meeting?):

What will be in the slideshow? The rest of the static side seems obvious.

Where would the “About Us” page go? As part of the uploads side, in the profiles sections? That would make sense, because then we could update our profile/bio, etc.

Where do the calendar items go?

    1. The slideshow could be a jQuery slideshow for the front page. It can cycle through anything… header images, featured artists, last 5 members… anything that’s an image inside the slideshow directory.

    2. All pages go under the views directory in CodeIgniter. Images relating to members could go into the profiles directory. Images could be the directory where members can upload their art, exhibit, and/or event pictures.

    3. Calendar items can go into a calendar directory or go under the images directory. I think whatever the members upload will go into the images directory anyway so it might be redundant to have a calendar directory…

    What does everyone else think?

    1. I used cycle for this slideshow but have had trouble with it on some older browsers: http://www.malsup.com/jquery/cycle/

    2. Let’s change the name to “About” so that it is obvious it is about the project?

    3. No need for an calendar directory. We can keep them organized by filename/references in the db.
